Da Nang, April 2026 — Vietnam Yacht Cruise Holding (VNYC), headquartered in Da Nang, carried out a site survey in the city to assess partnership potential and a future yacht club model.
Areas surveyed
The VNYC team visited locations along the Han River, the Tien Sa port area, Bach Dang wharf and the Son Tra – Ngu Hanh Son coastline to identify sites that could suit a berth and yacht club.
The intended model
The yacht club is envisaged to include yacht charter, river events, corporate activities and a membership programme. These ideas are at the research stage and are not a commitment to launch.
VNYC is also assessing whether it can host fireworks viewing on the Han River during the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026, subject to berth planning and legal procedures.
Meetings with stakeholders
During the survey, VNYC met several tourism businesses, port operators and relevant authorities to discuss cooperation, berth planning and the procedures required.
