A rest stop is not built by one company alone. Tomorrow, 9 September 2026, alongside the four strategic signing parties already named on the ceremony's key visual — SPT Group, CD Restop, Coro Energy, DTH Holdings — there is a group of organisations the event page calls programme companion partners. This article introduces them, says clearly what each one does, and leaves an open invitation for those who come next.
A rest stop takes many trades
The charging station is the most visible part, but not the hardest. For a driver to pull over and truly rest, someone has to design and build to the right standard; someone has to cook the meals and keep the sleeping quarters clean; someone has to make the screen in the lobby say something useful to people on the road; and someone has to organise the activities that turn that stop into a place with a community, not just a parking lot.
No single operator is good at all four of those things at once. Neither is CD Restop. That is why the programme was designed on the principle of one job per party, at one shared location — and the companion group below are the people who have taken up their share of the work.
Four programme companion partners
Nong Lam Phu Chau (Nông Lâm Phú Châu, Green Life) — partner for design, construction, supervision and rest-stop development in Đồng Nai and the surrounding area. This is the party that turns a plot of land into a rest stop that can be built, and built right — from the drawings to on-site construction supervision. Đồng Nai is the eastern gateway to Ho Chi Minh City, where trucks and coaches pass in dense streams; to start there is to start where the need already is.
Chao Global (Lifestyle Hospitality) — companion in developing the dining and food-court chain and the lodging component at the rest stops, to resort-grade operating standards. The phrase «resort-grade» here does not mean luxury; it points to simple things: a meal cooked with care, a place to lie down that is cleaned every day, and staff who know how to treat someone who has just driven eight hours on the highway.
DBMC (Deep Blue) — digital media partner: outdoor advertising screens and the community digital bulletin at the rest stops. The screen in the lobby could show nothing but advertising; it could also show, say, traffic conditions on the road ahead, the ward's vaccination schedule, job openings around the area. The difference lies in who runs the content, and that is DBMC's part of the work.
Giang Sơn Việt (GSV) — the member unit in charge of communications and of organising the programme's series of welfare events, and also the organiser of tomorrow's ceremony. A rest stop with a community is one with regular activities — perhaps a safe-driving workshop, a health check-up day, a small music night for the drivers at the end of the month. Someone has to step up and organise those things steadily, year after year.
The role of each party is stated exactly as it appears on CD Restop's event page. Which documents make up which chapter, and whose name stands where — that is for tomorrow's ceremony to announce.
One job per party, one shared location
If you place these four organisations on the map of the five values the programme is pursuing — infrastructure, technology, welfare, commerce, green energy — you will see that they cover exactly the boxes an operator cannot fill on its own: Nong Lam Phu Chau in infrastructure, Chao Global in commerce and welfare, DBMC in technology and community, Giang Sơn Việt in welfare and communications. The four strategic parties take care of the charging pillars, clean power and the digital platform; the four companion partners take care of what gives the rest stop its people, its meals, its voice and its activities.
That division of labour has a consequence worth noting: the programme does not need one partner who can do everything. It needs many partners, each good at one thing, and ready to do that thing at exactly the point where the network needs it.
An invitation to those who come next
The network is aiming for 34 provinces and cities. Today's four companion partners cannot, and should not, cover them all. In each locality, the person who knows where a rest stop is needed, who cooks well, who can be trusted to keep the lodging clean — is someone from that locality. CD Restop is looking for partners like that, for each site and each route:
- Site owners along national highways, at city gateways, near industrial parks — with land or an existing business premises they want to turn into an affiliated rest stop.
- Local food and retail businesses — kitchens, essential-goods stalls, the region's farm produce.
- Service providers for drivers — rest areas, showers, health care, minor repairs.
- Design and construction firms and energy and equipment firms in regions outside the Southeast.
- Local media, mass organisations and community groups — so that the lobby bulletin and the activities at each site speak to what matters in that place.
- Site-by-site investors — investing in one site, a cluster of sites, or one service component within a site.
