One day to go. Tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday 9 September 2026, from 16:00, at Ky Hoa Ben Thanh Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City, CD Restop, SPT Group and partners sit down to sign a strategic partnership to form a network of welfare rest stops — Scharge smart charging stations.
This article adds nothing new about the ceremony. It pauses on a single photograph, and says why that photograph was chosen to go with tomorrow.
Three hands in front of a charging station
In the photograph, three people are shaking hands — two men in white shirts and a woman — not in a meeting room, but right in front of a Scharge charging station. Behind them is the rest stop, the «Truck & Coach Parking» sign, and the tractor-trailers waiting their turn.
That composition is no accident. The handshake of a signing ceremony usually happens on a stage, under the lights. The photograph places it exactly where every document signed tomorrow will ultimately have to stand: beside the charging station, next to the parking lot, among those who keep life moving, day and night. If the handshake cannot stand firm there, it is only a pretty picture.
The line on the photograph says exactly what CD Restop wants to say: «From businesses, partners and the community joining hands, CD Restop came to be — a rest stop for those who keep life moving, day and night.»
What tomorrow holds
The ceremony runs from 16:00 to 20:30 with around 100 delegates — leaders of the signing parties, representatives of regulatory agencies, investors and partners. The central message: «Digital transformation meets green transformation — caring for the welfare of Vietnamese workers».
- 16:00 — Guest reception. The Scharge charging station display area and photo zone open.
- 17:00 — Opening. Mr Nguyễn Ngọc Hải, General Director of CD Restop, gives the opening address; Ms Annie Nguyễn, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, delivers the keynote on Welfare.
- 17:50 — Signing ceremony. The documents are signed in three chapters: the Scharge Platform, the Network and the Digital City.
- 18:08 — Group photo of all parties.
- Evening — Reception dinner, press interviews at the press corner, and a tribute to the sponsors.
The full list of signing parties and the content of each document will be announced at the ceremony. We are holding to that, even in this countdown piece.
Three chapters of one story
The three signing chapters — the Scharge Platform, the Network, the Digital City — are three layers of the same story: from SPT Group's commitment to digital transformation alongside Ho Chi Minh City, down to each rest stop along the journey — where digital transformation touches people every day, working towards a network across 34 provinces and cities — and back to the City's digital transformation platforms. Which documents belong to which chapter, we will let tomorrow tell.

The faces alongside us
The ceremony's key visual carries four brands: SPT Group (Saigon Postel) — technology and operations partner, developing the Scharge charging station system; CD Restop — operator of the rest-stop network; Coro Energy — clean energy infrastructure investor; DTH Holdings — energy and technology investor.
Walking alongside the ceremony are three sponsors, each with a story of its own that we told this week: Coro Energy — Diamond Sponsor, XECO — Gold Sponsor, and Amigo Entertainment — Silver Sponsor. The event organiser is Giang Sơn Việt.
