CD Restop tests electric vans before commercial leasing deployment

Ho Chi Minh City, April 24, 2026 — Under the strategic cooperation programme between CD Restop Welfare Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company and EVIA Global Green Joint Stock Company (EVIA), the two parties have just completed technical testing of a commercial electric van before its official deployment in EVIA''s nationwide EV leasing network.

Comprehensive testing — quality control before operation

This round of testing was carried out methodically under a strict technical inspection procedure, focusing on three critical metric groups: operating performance, technical safety, and fast-charging compatibility. Charging-power verification was given particular emphasis to ensure that every electric van handed over to a leasing customer delivers optimal charging time, current stability, and operational safety.

Key tests included:

  • Real-world charging-power verification on EVIA''s DC fast-charging stations, cross-referenced against manufacturer specifications.
  • Multi-standard compatibility assessment (CCS2, GB/T) between the vehicle and 160 kW charging posts.
  • Real-route range testing under urban traffic and highway conditions.
  • Electrical safety, braking, air-conditioning, cargo bay and driver-experience checks.

The test results showed that the electric van fully meets the technical and safety standards for commercial operation. This is a mandatory step in the quality-management process that CD Restop and EVIA have jointly agreed to apply to the entire fleet before it rolls out to customers.

Strategic cooperation — synchronising charging infrastructure and commercial EV fleet

The coordination between CD Restop and EVIA clearly illustrates a unique symbiotic model: EVIA focuses on developing a short- and long-term commercial EV leasing fleet, while providing DC 160–320 kW fast-charging systems at strategic rest-stops nationwide; CD Restop plays the business-development role.

This model not only helps EVIA control fleet quality from the intake stage but also delivers tangible benefits to enterprises, household businesses and individual lessees: reduced operating costs, optimised travel time, and peace of mind regarding a clean and stable energy source.

Special offer — charging support for all EV leasing customers

Under this cooperation, CD Restop and EVIA announce a dedicated support policy for customers leasing EVs through EVIA:

All EVIA EV leasing customers receive charging support at every CD Restop rest-stop nationwide.

This policy applies to both short- and long-term lessees, including logistics, intra-city freight, e-commerce services, tourism, and corporate fleet operators. With CD Restop''s roadmap of 150+ stations in 26+ provinces by 2032, EVIA''s leasing customers will always have a reliable charging point on any route.

This is a "one-stop" solution rarely seen in the market today: customers not only lease modern electric vehicles but are also accompanied by a professional charging-infrastructure ecosystem that ensures continuous, uninterrupted operations.

Towards a green Vietnam — sustainable transport electrification

CD Restop and EVIA''s completion of electric-van testing and announcement of the charging-support policy is an important milestone that affirms both companies'' commitment to standardising the quality of EV transport services in Vietnam. It is also a concrete demonstration of the "sustainable symbiosis" spirit — where companies in the same industry proactively connect to create greater value for customers and the community.

In the coming period, the two parties will continue to expand the electric-van fleet, adding passenger cars, light trucks and special-purpose vehicles, alongside increasing charging-station density in key economic regions.
