XECO — Gold Sponsor of the CD Restop Strategic Partnership Signing Ceremony, 9 September 2026

Among the three sponsors of the ceremony, XECO is the name closest to the daily work of CD Restop: an electric vehicle charging solutions brand with a product range from wall-mounted AC chargers to DC fast chargers, together with an application for users and a management system for operators. The DC fast chargers of XECO come in both a European-standard and a Chinese-standard version — exactly the problem facing a public charging network in Vietnam.

Among the three sponsors of the ceremony, XECO is the name closest to the daily work of CD Restop. Coro Energy works in energy, Amigo Entertainment in entertainment, while XECO does exactly what sits at the center of every rest stop: the charging units and the software that runs them.

What XECO does

XECO is an electric vehicle charging solutions brand. According to the company's official website, the brand operates in Hong Kong and Thailand, supplying a product range that runs from wall-mounted AC chargers to DC fast chargers, serving four customer groups: households, businesses whose staff and customers need somewhere to charge, electric fleet operators, and public charging points.

The hardware comes with two pieces of software. A mobile application for end users — available on both iOS and Android — to find a charger, navigate to it, scan a code to start a charging session, pay, and review history and account balance. And a management system for operators, to monitor and run the network of chargers. The slogan the company gives its platform is concise: «smart | friendly | simple».

A small but important detail: two connector standards

The DC fast charger catalogue of XECO includes both a European-standard version and a Chinese-standard version. It is a technical detail that sounds dry, yet it speaks directly to the problem facing a public charging network in Vietnam.

Roads in Vietnam today carry electric vehicles of many different origins, and they do not share a single type of connector. A station that serves only one standard is meaningless to half the vehicles passing by. This is also the reason the Scharge charging units — the equipment deployed across the CD Restop rest stop network — are stated to support multiple connector standards, covering CCS, GB/T and CHAdeMO, with a power range from 7 kW to 400 kW.

In other words, XECO and CD Restop look at the same problem from two sides: one builds equipment able to serve many kinds of vehicle, the other operates the network where many kinds of vehicle stop in.

The hard part is not the opening day

CD Restop operates the Scharge rest stop and smart charging station system, working towards a network across 34 provinces and cities. The word worth noting here is operates.

Building a station and cutting the ribbon is the short part. The far longer part begins the next day: keeping the units always available, keeping payments free of errors, detecting faults from the control center before a driver on the road has to call in, and keeping operating data clean enough to know which stations are being used and which are not. That is the work of management software, not of concrete.

A long-haul driver who stops at eleven at night does not care who invested in the station. He only needs to plug in and charge. Keeping that sentence true is the part of the job that a charging station solutions partner understands better than anyone.

9 September

Representatives of XECO will be present at Central Palace (Ky Hoa Ben Thanh Hotel), 39 – 39A Nguyen Trung Truc Street, Ben Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City for the CD Restop strategic partnership signing ceremony, held from 16:00 to 20:30 on Wednesday 9 September 2026 with about 100 delegates.

The set of documents for the ceremony is arranged in three chapters — the Scharge Platform, the Network and the Digital City. The full list of signatories and the content of each document will be announced at the ceremony. The evening program includes a segment honoring the sponsors.

CD Restop sincerely thanks XECO for agreeing to join the event, and thanks all three sponsors — Coro Energy, XECO and Amigo Entertainment — together with the organizing unit Giang Sơn Việt, for helping to make the ceremony possible.
