Happy National Day — and a safe journey on every road

Marking 81 years since National Day, 2 September 1945 – 2 September 2026, CD Restop thanks its partners, investors and colleagues — with a few practical notes for holiday travel: the four-hour continuous driving limit, and planning your charge when only five rest stops on the entire North – South Expressway offer it.

To our valued partners, our investors, and every member of our team,

On the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (2 September 1945 – 2 September 2026), CD Restop Welfare Infrastructure Investment JSC extends its warmest wishes to you and your families: a peaceful holiday, spent well and among the people who matter most.

This year the holiday runs from Saturday 29 August through Wednesday 2 September 2026 for public-sector staff — five consecutive days, thanks to a swapped working day — while employees in the private sector receive at least two fully paid days off on 1 and 2 September. Across those days, millions of Vietnamese will take to the road: heading home, to the coast, to the highlands, or simply taking the family somewhere beyond the city.

For a company whose work is roadside infrastructure, these are not merely public holidays. They are the days when what we build together makes the most obvious sense.

To our partners

A network of welfare rest stops is never one company's work. It is the result of many hands placed side by side: landowners who entrust us with sites they have cared for; technology and energy partners who bring the chargers, the operating platform and the electrical infrastructure; design and construction partners who turn drawings into buildings; and the service, F&B, distribution and insurance partners who thicken every amenity offered to the traveller who stops.

Through 2026 that ecosystem has taken clear shape alongside SPT Corporation, DTH Holdings and Coro Energy, together with the partners accompanying us at our first sites. CD Restop thanks you for your trust and your persistence — especially in the work few people ever see: grid connection procedures, the legal file for each individual location, field surveys carried out under a hard sun, and long meetings held to agree on a single technical figure.

To our investors

Infrastructure is an industry of patience. A rest stop is not born of one decision but of a chain of small ones: finding the land, surveying it, obtaining permits, connecting to the grid, building, operating — and only then the first day a traveller stops.

Your partnership is what allows that chain to run in the right order rather than being cut short. We thank you for choosing to walk a long road with CD Restop, and we reaffirm our commitment: transparency in what we report, discipline in what we deliver, and prudence in every decision about how resources are used.

Immediately after the holiday, on 9 September 2026, CD Restop and its strategic partners will hold the investment cooperation signing ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City. We look forward to welcoming you there.

To our colleagues

Over the past year the CD Restop team has covered a great deal of ground: survey trips along the expressways, days in the field measuring and documenting site conditions, nights spent finishing files to meet a deadline. The management board sees every one of those contributions, and is grateful for them.

This holiday, please genuinely rest — put the work phone away and give the time entirely to your families. And to those in operations and engineering who will be on shift through the holiday so that service continues without interruption: thank you. It is precisely those quiet shifts that give meaning to the word "welfare" in our name.

And to everyone setting out on the road

As a company that works on the road for a living, allow us to add a few small but practical notes for this holiday:

  • Four hours is a limit, not a suggestion. Current regulation prohibits driving continuously for more than four hours; a rest of at least 15 minutes must follow. That figure comes from research into driver fatigue — treat it as a promise to the family sitting behind you.
  • Twenty minutes of sleep beats a third coffee. If your eyes feel heavy, pull into a well-lit, safe stopping place — not the emergency lane, and not "just another few dozen kilometres".
  • Driving an EV: plan your charge before you leave. The North – South Eastern Expressway currently has 27 rest stops in operation, roughly one every 75 km, but only five of them offer charging. Queues run longer on holidays than on ordinary days — fix your charging points in advance and always keep a fallback.
  • Check tyres, coolant and lights before every long leg. Five minutes before departure saves many hours on the hard shoulder.

In closing

Eighty-one years ago, this country began a new journey. What we are doing today — one rest stop, one charger, one decent place for a long-haul driver to sleep — is a very small contribution to that shared journey. But we believe in doing small things well, doing them steadily, and doing them together.

We wish our partners, our investors, all our colleagues and their families a National Day holiday that is peaceful, joyful, and ends with everyone home safe.

With respect,
The Management Board, CD Restop Welfare Infrastructure Investment JSC
