CD Restop — CD Restop An Sinh (social welfare) Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company — is the "final piece" among the six technology booths at TechFuture 2026, taking place on 10–11 September 2026 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC), Cau Tu Lien Road, Dong Anh, Hanoi. The announcement was posted on TechFuture's Facebook page just ahead of the event: the company was selected by the Organizing Committee as a "strategic technology enterprise" to exhibit. The program includes an opening ceremony, exhibition, pitching sessions and B2B/B2C investment matchmaking.
What stands out is not that a company gained another booth, but how the Organizing Committee framed CD Restop in its introduction: "A modern journey needs more than modern roads. It also needs stops smart enough to connect people, vehicles, energy and services." That is the very question CD Restop has pursued since its original project proposal — and the reason a rest-stop infrastructure company stands alongside five other core-technology companies at the same exhibition.
What TechFuture 2026 is, and why there are only six booths
TechFuture 2026 is billed by its Organizing Committee as a "Strategic Technology Forum & Exhibition", bringing together at most six selected core-technology and strategic-technology companies. The six booths are arranged in an arc around a central area named "Technology Hub — Converging Technologies"; the two-day program includes an opening ceremony, exhibition, pitching sessions and B2B/B2C investment matchmaking.
The number six says something about how the event is organized: not a sprawling trade fair, but a handful of selected models presented in full to investors and visitors. Within that frame, CD Restop brings a field in which technology is usually seen as an accessory rather than the core: rest-stop and energy infrastructure for transport.
"Smart Rest Stop": technology in operations, not on the brochure
In its introduction, TechFuture describes CD Restop's model as a step "from rest station to Smart Rest Stop", and points to the differentiator: technology is built into the actual operation of the infrastructure. Specifically, RESTOP sites are designed to integrate IoT and AI cameras for 24/7 security monitoring, traffic-flow analysis and parking management; alongside these are AC/DC EV charging systems and solar power combined with battery energy storage (BESS), aimed at green operations and optimized energy costs.
Set against what CD Restop has already published, those three technology layers map onto three very concrete jobs at a rest stop. The first layer is seeing how the site is running: which charging gun is busy is already monitored in real time on the platform; what time vehicles arrive, how long they park and which bays are free is the part to be added through AI cameras. The second layer is charging vehicles with the Scharge range, from AC 7/14 kW to DC 160 kW and the extended series, on a 1,000 V platform with multi-standard connectors; specifications are published at cdrestop.com/vi/scharge. The third layer is the power source behind the chargers: rooftop solar and a storage system so the rest stop does not have to register grid capacity for a few peak hours each day.
One detail TechFuture singles out is the Class C partnership model: CD Restop aims for unstaffed operation via app and IoT, while integrating chargers and solar power into partners' existing service locations. This is the component that determines how fast the network can scale: under that approach, a Class C site needs no new premises, is intended to run without a dedicated on-site operations team, and charging sessions are reconciled centrally on the same platform as the larger sites. Of the project's four scales — Complex, Class A, Class B, Class C — it is the smallest tier where operational technology plays the largest role, because there the technology is designed to replace most human tasks.
The six components on the poster and the welfare layer beneath them
The second basis the Organizing Committee cites for its selection is how CD Restop organizes services. Rather than separating charging station, rest area, retail or energy, the company places them in one ecosystem at the same site — in TechFuture's words, "5-star RESTOP – EV Charging – GOMO Mart – Solar & BESS – digital advertising – social welfare amenities". These six components are also the six icons at the foot of the poster.
At the operating level, according to TechFuture's introduction, CD Restop positions itself as the coordinating hub of an ecosystem of more than 20 stakeholders across capital, technology, energy, land bank and services; the charging system alone has an app-based payment and reconciliation solution. This structure is consistent with what CD Restop laid out in its earlier series: charging infrastructure is a problem spanning four different industries — power utilities; renewable energy; telecom and operational technology; service real-estate development — and combining those four capabilities through clear role allocation is faster and wastes less capital than building all four in-house.
There is one more layer beneath the six-component ecosystem, and it is the reason the company carries the name "An Sinh Infrastructure Investment". Each rest stop is designed on the "One Station — Three Charges" framework: charging vehicles, recharging people and recharging welfare. A share of commercial revenue at the site — food and beverage, retail, charging services, advertising — is set aside as a separately accounted welfare budget, spent on free rest areas, no-fee restrooms, subsidized meals and baskets of essential goods. Technology here is not only about selling electricity more efficiently, but about giving the welfare layer verifiable numbers: the project calls for network-wide governance on a centralized digital platform and quarterly welfare reports sent to local authorities and mass organizations.
What CD Restop brings to Hanoi
According to TechFuture, the story CD Restop brings to #TF07 "does not stop at a rest-station model", but is about how IoT, AI, green energy, EV charging infrastructure and a digital operating platform converge in infrastructure very close to everyday life. Under the published project, the CD Restop model comprises four rest-stop scales, the Scharge charger range, the operating platform and app, and the welfare components; the first rest stops in Ho Chi Minh City, already built or taking shape, serve as the evidence.
In the project's partnership proposals, CD Restop invites cooperation from premises and landowners at gateway locations and along national highway corridors — under flexible models: leasing, business cooperation, or franchising the operation of individual components; energy, charging and solar companies to invest in and operate the energy infrastructure at each site; and local authorities and mass organizations to co-create and oversee the welfare institution at each rest stop. These are the topics partners can discuss directly with CD Restop.
This week's schedule is also worth noting: the investment cooperation signing ceremony with charging-infrastructure alliance partners is scheduled for 9 September 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City, and the very next day CD Restop will be in Hanoi. The first rest stops in Ho Chi Minh City are the evidence CD Restop brings to Hanoi; the signing ceremony, if it proceeds as planned, will add the partners' commitments.
